Have you been wondering just what an acupuncture appointment might entail? This is a very accurate and thorough account written about a young man’s first acupuncture experience. The acupuncturist in the article is a friend and former classmate of mine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago, IL. I like how the author pinpoints that although his general feeling of malaise may not be something he would make an appointment with his doctor about, it was still an uncomfortable state of being and important to be addressed.

Antibiotics definitely have their place in medicine, but often they are not the solution. And when they are not the solution, they are not going to make you feel better. People experience low appetite, fatigue and diarrhea as just some of the side effects of antibiotics. If your doctor is not offering you antibiotics, I would take their word for it that you probably don’t need them.
