Traditionally, some of the many things chywanprash has been used for include boosting immunity, aiding in developing strong digestion, nourishing and revitalizing reproductive tissues, and supporting normal function of the heart and respiratory systems. The prime ingredient in chywanprash is amla, also known as Indian gooseberry. Amla is packed with vitamin c and rich in antioxidants.
